Visit The Megalong Valley Tearooms

Just a short drive out of Blackheath, down the winding road through the rainforest of The Megalong Valley you will arrive at the 50-year-family-owned Megalong Valley Tearooms. Nestled in a rural oasis beneath stunning sandstone escarpment, it is renowned for its Devonshire tea, home-made apple pies (my favourite!), delicious home-style cooking and good old fashioned country hospitality. It’s a must see/do while visiting Blackheath.
Smell that country air as you enjoy a superb home-cooked country breakfast of free range eggs, crispy bacon, mushrooms, home-grown tomatoes and their own recipe of home-made baked beans in the sprawling garden setting while horses and kangaroos graze in the open paddocks. On cooler days you can nestle into the warm cosy dining room beside the log fire and enjoy the real feel of old style country dining. Highly recommended  <3
Visit www.megalongtearooms.com/menu.php to view their menu and click on the History tab to read about how the Megalong Tearooms came to be.
